After almost two years of planning, building works and refurbishing, Identitywa is now settled into its new Corporate base in Northbridge

Board members, families and staff gathered for an informal afternoon tea on May 21 which included a visual presentation showcasing some of the historical photos dating back to when the Sisters of Mercy ran the school in the late 1800s into the 1970s.

In his speech, Board Chair, Graeme Mander, acknowledged the support from the Archdiocese of Perth, Lotterywest and the City of Perth which had financed the repurposing of the building to a new head office for Identitywa.

“As an agency of the Catholic Church, it is satisfying and fulfilling that we now occupy buildings so rich in the tradition of the Church,” said Graeme.  “We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful facility for our staff.”

The refurbishment has created office space, meeting rooms and a state-of-the-art training room for Identitywa.
