Respite
Through Recreation
- One-to-one assistance to
adolescents/adults to join local group activities (such as Brownies, Scouts, dancing
classes)
- Works towards the group
itself taking on the responsibility of caring for the individual
- Offers regular short breaks
to families in the evening or on the weekend

School Holiday Camps & Day Outings
- 3-day camps or 1-day outings,
each for 4 children, over school holidays
- Both paid staff and volunteers
care for the children while they are away or on outings
- Offers a fun, safe holiday
to children with high support needs
- Gives families a break

SIBS
Groups
- Little SIBS: for 6 to 8
year olds
- SIBS: for 9 to 12 year
olds
- Camps and day activities
during the school holidays for "Specially Important Brothers & Sisters"
(SIBS) of children with disabilities
- Builds networks for mutual
support
- Children share feelings
and issues/receive support to deal with them
- Fun social and recreational
activities

Social
Club
- Social and recreation activities
for adolescents and young adults whose support needs are not high, who live at
home with their families
- A range of activities-from
parties, to bowling or pool, through to going to the trots, or seeing a Wildcats
game
- Volunteers are heavily
involved, with paid staff, to support the young people to develop friendships,
and to extend their social and life skills
