Identitywa, CCI Apprenticeships and Centacare offer accreditation opportunities for Identitywa support staff
The chance to build knowledge and skills to better equip staff to assist the people Identitywa supports is at the centre of a collaboration between disability support agency, Identitywa, CCI Apprenticeships and Centacare Employment and Training.
The 2017 class gathered at Identitywa’s new corporate base in Northbridge for their induction on Monday 20th March.
“My hope for this course is to better equip myself with skills which will assist me to support the individuals I work with,” said participant, Leanne. Joshua agrees, “I am very grateful for the opportunity to study through Identitywa and look forward to being able to apply the new skills I will learn through this course.”
Identitywa’s goal is that staff will gain a sound knowledge of person centred support strategies and the skills to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals and families. Having highly skilled staff is critical to the delivery of Identitywa’s services which can assist people throughout their lives.
