Janice’s Weekend Away

Horses, sheep, goats, and  alpacas and a visit to a Christmas Shop made for a fantastic holiday for Janice

A lovely Bed and Breakfast in the historic town of Toodyay was the destination for Janice and her support worker, Deb to have a weekend away.

They made the most of their time there, taking in all the tourist sites, local shops, and a visit to the famous Christmas Shop, which is well known for its beautiful displays and unique Christmas items to buy.

Janice was happy to find a gift for her mother in town, and she purchased a wind-up Santa to share with her housemates at Christmas.

The visit also included fish and chips at the local pub, joined by two of the guests they had made friends with at the B&B. They then returned to their accommodation for some RnR and an early night!

The following day they enjoyed a delicious breakfast before leaving to visit another local attraction, The Fairytale Farm. A lovely experience that features displays of nursery rhymes, friendly farm animals to pet and feed, and a vintage toy museum.

Needless to say, both Janice and Deb were pretty exhausted when they returned home. However, Janice still found the energy to share her adventure with her Identitywa housemates!
