Opening The Doors To Our Respite House

The freshly painted interior and flourishing vegetable garden provided a homely setting for our Nollamara Children’s Respite Open Day.
Families and people from organisations supporting children came together in March to lunch and share stories and information.
The Open Day was also a chance for people to tour the house and ask staff questions about Identitywa’s supports for children.
We were also very pleased to have as our guest speaker, Jacqueline Reid, who described the great work her Students with Disabilities Team does in supporting Catholic Education students.
Jacquie and our other special guests were also on hand to talk one-on-one with people. We were delighted to have Therapy Focus, Kalparrin, City of Stirling, and the Ethnic Disability Advocacy Centre there to talk about the supports they provide
