Christmas celebrations for Identitywa Community
It was truly a joyful occasion when we gathered for our annual Christmas celebration at St Lawrence Church in Balcatta.
“It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to see everyone contribute to the Mass once again celebrated by Father Nino Vinciguerra,” said CEO Marina Re. “This year, the date (3 December) fell on International Day of People with Disability 2022 (IDPwD), a day which aims to increase awareness, understanding, and acceptance of people with disability.
We celebrate the achievements of people with disability and commit to action for a more inclusive community. ” said Marina.
Following the Mass, people shared a meal and a special commemorative cookie sponsored by NDS WA’s International Day of People with Disability 2022.
