Identitywa opens new office in Cockburn
A commitment to extend services offered by Identitywa to people with disability and their families living in the south of Perth, has seen the establishment of a dedicated office in Cockburn.
This is a welcome addition which will increase the Identitywa’s outreach and ability to support children with disability and their families.
Identitywa has two children’s houses located in the north and south of Perth which provide the opportunity for families to take a break, in addition to a range of other community supports for children and teenagers.
For new Identitywa Support Worker, George, the chance to obtain practical experience whilst contributing to a fun and rewarding break for families accessing Identitywa’s Children’s House in Riverton is the perfect combination.
Recently graduated from UWA with a degree in Psychology, he believes that Identitywa will enable him to gain the insight and knowledge he needs for a future focused on people.
“We value George’s aspirations and they are very much in line with Identitywa’s focus that the wellbeing and personal goals of the people we support is always at the centre of what we do,” said Identitywa CEO, Marina Re.
