Identitywa staff focus on how digital technology can assist in better serving the people they support
Identitywa launched the year with a thought-provoking workshop centred on how digital technology tools can support the agency in its service delivery to people with disability and their families.
Driven by a commitment to continue to develop excellent service and business practices, the workshop provided staff with an opportunity to consider how their specific roles could be enhanced by the use of the latest technology.
“Our Board and Executive team see the use of digital technologies as an absolute priority,” said CEO, Marina Re.
“We are in an environment which is challenged daily to deliver high quality service to individuals who often have complex needs.
“We want to ensure we have a strong foundation to enable us to move into the future of disability support. Whether it be utilising assistive technology or implementing digital tools to support our uncompromising focus on quality throughout our systems and procedures,” said Marina.
This is the first of a number of workshops which will be held throughout 2019.
Identitywa is one of WA’s leading agencies supporting people with disability to live the life they choose. With a strong commitment to Person Centred Active Support, staff work in partnership with individuals to explore, plan and design support options to suit their individual needs.
