A Pit Full of Fun
An unused corner of Nollamara Children’s Respite House became a pit full of fun with the addition of these coloured balls.
Braedan, Sebastian, Jason and Marshall were among the first to try the ball pit which sparking much laughter and larking about.
Coordinator, Gail Beard said, “The space was just being used for storage and I thought we could do so much more with it.”
“A asked a friend of mine, Mike Wilson, if he would make a ball pit and we couldn’t be happier with the results.”
“Along with our vegetable garden, playground, trampoline and so on, it gives the kids another fun way of interacting with each other.”
“We still want about another 1000 balls in there so kids can really dive in amongst them, but we’ll just chip away at that.
