Rosalba and Frank delighted with their raffle prize.

Identitywa marks National Carers Week each year with a High Tea dedicated to encouraging carers to come together and take some time out from their busy lives.

The event hosted at Identitywa’s Northbridge Office, includes lots of delicious food, a hot cup of tea or coffee, great company and the ‘mandatory’ Raffle prize!

This year, over 40 people came together for what has become a tradition for Identitywa – the first hosted in 2013.

Board Chair, Graeme Mander, welcomed the guests and acknowledged the ongoing commitment to support their family member.

“Identitywa’s High Tea is just one of the many events being held across Australia from Sunday 13th to Saturday 19th October to raise awareness of carers, the caring role and relationships, and carer supports and service,” said Graeme.

“Today is about recognising and acknowledging your selfless role as a carer.

“We welcome you, and encourage you, for the next few hours to enjoy our hospitality and the company of others who share similar responsibilities.”

On what is their 42nd wedding anniversary, Frank and Rosalba Costanzo, were delighted to be the winners of the major raffle prize donated by artist, Helan Pereira.

Their daughter, Melissa, has been supported by Identitywa for over 30 years.

“It is so lovely to be together,” said Rosalba.  “We really enjoy being able to talk with others who have experiences similar to ours.

Identitywa is very grateful for the support from event sponsors:
