Taking a regular short break provides a variety of experiences for James
For 30-year-old James, being able to take short breaks at Identitywa’s Adult (respite) House provides great experiences and time to himself too.
James regularly stays at the house where he has his own room and TV. Not having to share the remote gives ‘sports nut’ James the chance to watch sport uninterrupted on Foxtel and his favourite videos in peace!
Relaxing listening to music and spending time in the park opposite the house are also high on James’s list of things to do.
A short break away from home is an ideal opportunity for James to meet people, learn new skills and take advantage of all the activities on offer in and out of the house. These could include contributing to cooking shared meals, travelling on the train to the city, bowling or just having a chat. All in all, his time is very productive and lots of fun!
